Dog Love, God Love

This may be a little far fetched for some, but did you ever stop and think about the love dogs give?

Dogs are a prime earthly example of Gods love for us.

You can ignore them, forget to feed them, even abuse them, and yet, our dogs will still come back wagging their happy little tails yearning for love.

We can ignore God; his presence, his lick in the mouth to show us how much he cares.

Like a dog, He waits for us to turn and face Him just so he can jump up in our faces and lick us all over to show us that no matter how much we ignore Him, abuse our relationship with Him- Hes going to love us no matter what.

While we are out, Our dogs will wait for us at the front door for hours. They never give up. They cant wait for us to come back home so that we give them attention,  and they can love us in return.

Thats how God does. When we've left, pursuing our own lives apart from Him- Hes still there waiting for our return.

He doesn't care what other dogs you petted while you were gone, or what you may have done while you were out. All He cares about is that you are home. He wants to lick all that away, cuddle with you and make you feel better.

Our dogs love us unconditionally,  and always will, they just want us to come home. Plain and simple.  Come home.
